The Master family’s business journey began nearly half a century ago. For years, it has been one of Turkey’s top producers and exporters of high-quality Damask rose essence. The family owns nearly 20 hectares of premium rose gardens in Kavak Village, Kırcıbollu Town, along with an automated production and packaging line.
In 1967, the founder Ahmet Ihsan Öztürk opened a retail store in Sehremini, Istanbul, selling clothing accessories, cosmetics, and household items. With the establishment of Master Ev Gerecleri Ltd. Sti in 1992, the enterprise continued to expand and thrive. Today, it has evolved into a large-scale, diversified modern enterprise integrating commerce and production.
In its early years, the company focused on importing and retailing goods. Later, it started developing its own products under the brand “MtrMaster”, which were first sold in its own supermarkets before being launched in domestic and international markets.

Production Process
Every morning before sunrise, skilled workers hand-pick the roses, which are then distilled within hours using traditional steam distillation.
Rosalissa has always adhered to traditional production methods rather than modern industrial techniques. This slow distillation process over firewood helps retain the rose’s natural components.
Thanks to this method, volatile compounds such as citronellol, geraniol, and nerol remain intact, resulting in a richer aroma and stronger antioxidant properties.
